The Uttarakhand Police on March 27 assured peace in the state and stated that they would not permit “their intention to be fulfilled” in the face of a threat by a banned pro-Khalistan outfit ahead of the crucial three-day G-20 meeting to be held in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand. The threat was made with the intention of “internationalizing” the issue.
